A Mudman (マッドマン Maddoman?) is a common enemy type in the OneeChanbara series. It is a special Undead characterized by rotting, mud-like skin and slow movement. A hole in its torso reveals an empty stomach cavity with nothing to support its hanging heart.
Mudmen are notoriously difficult to kill, being impervious to most attacks. The two most surefire ways to kill a Mudman are: (1) rip its heart out from its exposed core, and (2) attack it in Berserk or Xtatic/Dare Drive Form. Vamp Skills and Ecstasy Combinations are also reliable in killing Mudmen. Ripping the heart out of a Mudman will reward the player with a Bloody Lump, a useful item for members of the Baneful Bloodline.

- The first iteration of the Mudman bears a striking resemblance to the Tarman from the 1985 film The Return of the Living Dead.
