THE OneeChanbara 2 (SIMPLE2000シリーズ Vol.90 THE お姉チャンバラ2 Simple 2000 Series Vol. 90: THE OnēChanbara 2) is the sequel to THE OneeChanbara, and the first game in the series to introduce the series staple character-switching.

The Oneechanbara 2 is a full sequel to the first Oneechanbara game and is the third one in the series.

Of the four PlayStation 2 games of the Oneechanbara "Simple 2000" franchise made, this is the only one that did not receive a European release.

After having finally defeated her younger sister Saki but refraining from mortally wounding her, Aya takes her to the hospital only to discover her missing after Saki had suffered a strange "fever". In trying to find her, Aya encounters the mysterious motorcycle helmet-wearing Reiko trying to murder Saki; after stopping her, Aya uncovers a sinister plot.

Like any game of the "Oneechanbara series", this is a beat 'em up brawler that features sexy heroines using intense violence to fight against zombies that happen to be crammed full of blood.

Regular features of the gameplay include: special attack combos dependent on precise timing called "cool combos; "sword fatigue" Can hinder the timing and effectiveness of your attacks unless you regularly clean your sword; and a "blood rage" meter that transforms the hero into a "devil state" when full, causing the player to do double damage as well as take double damage.

Brand new gameplay features to this sequel include: playing two girls concurrently, allowing the one "tagging out" the ability to recover lost health; a new playable character, Reiko; new items to use as well as new monsters to fight. Back and also updated is the quest mode where the player can complete challenges to "unlock bonus content".

Being a budget game, the game can be very sparse on presentation. For example, most of the story is told as a voice-over with accompanying text and still images.
